Investigate FDA
The Food and Drug Administration continues to give out false and deceptive information about mercury fillings. They won’t issue warnings to pregnant women. They won’t even advise consumers that amalgam is mainly mercury. Decisions are made by pro-mercury dentists – persons totally unqualified to determine damage to the brain or fetus, and persons with an enormous conflict of interest.
The good news: FDA is having a hearing on Sept. 6 and 7.
The bad news: FDA remains in violation of the law: It refuses to issue an environmental impact statement on the largest source of mercury in the wastewater; it refuses to classify mercury amalgam in order to allow it to be soled; and it has a sham classification system, calling mercury amalgam “substantially equivalent” to a non-mercury alloy.
We urge you to write your two Senators and your Congressman or Congresswoman. Go to http://ga4.org/campaign/FDA_Investigation, which allows you to send letters to all three of your federal lawmakers with the click of a wrist.
