Federal Government

Lawrence Tabak, Director of the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research, engineered the notorious deal with tobacco consultant LSRO to ratify his position on mercury fillings – then lied about it to Congressman Burton and Congresswoman Watson to cover up the wrongdoing.

Then came something even worse:  the U.S. Office of Human Research Protections has found that Tabak’s team failed to give informed consent to institutionalized children upon whom they conducted an immoral mercury experiment.  That’s 3 strikes against Tabak for his lack of ethics, his fraud on the taxpayers, and contempt for institutionalized children.

So we wrote Elias Zerhouni, Director of NIH, asking that he sack Tabak.  After you review my letter, join us in asking that he be fired for his reckless disregard for institutionalized children, by e-mailing Director Zerhouni and all his top staff (send your e-mail to all these folks at once):  ZerhounE@od.nih.gov; norka.ruiz-bravo@nih.hhs.gov, kingtonr@od.nih.gov; Rk25n@nih.gov;  m77f@nih.gov; BurklowJ@od.nih.gov; allenMa@od.nih.gov; ServisS@od.nih.gov, CornellS@od.nih.gov
