In a major breakthrough for our movement, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the nation’s premier organization of the best courtroom lawyers, conducted a seminar entitled "Mercury Silver Dental Fillings as the Next Mass Tort. Conducting the seminar was the “first string” team in our movement: lawyers Shawn Khorrami (Los Angeles), Sandy Duffy (Portland, OR), and Bubba Grimsley (Birmingham, AL), and Professor Boyd Haley (U. of Ky.). Charlie Brown, national counsel of Consumers for Dental Choice, was the moderator. Held on March 9, 2004, it was a telephone seminar, so lawyers all over the country participated.
